Citizenship

Unknown

The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States…are citizens of the United States…”

Last year, Xavier University published a study finding that one in three native-born citizens would fail if they had to take the actual citizenship test.

This afternoon, I was flipping through an Atlantic magazine articles on ideas of the year from 2013. One of the excerpts was titled, “What If You Had to Earn American Citizenship?”

So naturally, I had to see if I could pass the one in this magazine. 🙂

I passed with a score of 44 – just about average.

So – what about you? Could you pass the citizenship test? Click the title of the article above to find out!
